Hi all,
I need some help of you people to change IP address of Node/Pc using SNMP
protocol. i want to write my own MIB for this purpose but i hve not much
experties to do this.
Any one who can guide me, is it possible to change IP address via SNMP and
2nd is how can i write my own MIb for this ,

i tried to remove sysContact or sysName file from /usr/share/snmp/mibs path
but no success,
can some one guide me to how to remove some specific Objects from MIBS.

Hi all!
I installed snmpd on my PC and net-snmp tool. i am using Debian(Ubuntu 9.10)
linux.
I am able to read it but could not write because its Access is set to
Read-only,
as i searched and concluded that, no body can not change Standard/RFC MIB
files which located at /usr/shares/snmp/mibs path.

i am new in net-snmp development, i need help about a problem. I have a MIB
(I used existing MIB of net-snmp and change few objects of it and save it by
name test-MIB.txt at /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs path).. now i want to load
it so that net-snmp agent use my test mib to response for GET

Sir! i studied again but unable to fix the error, still getting the same
error even added 0 at the end of object.
