Amazing piece. It leads me reflect on the regrets of someone who did something slightly embarrassing to someone serving a life prison sentence, who has taken someone's life, and all manner of things that one could wish one hadn't done, from micro to macro, I wish I hadn't worn those trousers to I wish I hadn't killed or driven drunk or . . .
