Playing with kgdb on -current/amd64, on the remote, I see com1 at isa0 port 0x2f8-0x2ff irq 3: ns16550a, working fifo com1: kgdb In /etc/remote (on the remote), I have com1:dv=/dev/dty01:br#115200:pa=none:dc: to go with options
