I hit borgbackup,org. It said its part of pkgsrc. I did a search with 'pkgfind'. I found a GUI for borgbackup in pkgsrc/wip, but no borgbackup. Where is it? I am building my own GUI tool in pTk for common root admin tasks. It would be cool to make system-backup an option... On Sat, Jul 31, 2021

More thoughts on "bacula". The thing is quite involved. I got the *pdf files downloaded. Is there a simple way to get this thing running? Do any of these programs (besides bacula) allow backup varification? Thats why I purchased bru 10yrs ago. NetBSD backup stuff has come A LOONNNG way since

I am playing with "bacula". I had no idea that it was so advanced, and widely used. My big thing is I need something to replace "bru" (I bought it around 2005). I needed to add binary-compatibility to the kernel config. Bru allows comparison so I dont get caught off-guard. I find the config
