Right now I have no other idea than, mark: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-1344 as BLOCKER and add -J-Djdk.gtk.version=2.2 to the default command line parameters. It improves the UI on GTK+ LAF a lot, however still not perfect. It is going to be in 10.0 VC2. [editor] Appearance
In my NetBeans 10.0-vc1 (GTK+), I don't see check box outlines, or radio buttons and on dialogs with scroll bars, those are also not visible (not shown in this screenshot).
