Hi, We have observed 40ms latency spikes in TCP connections in burst type of traffic. This affects regular TCP sockets. We observed this issue in kernels of 2.4.21 and kernel 2.6.5. Aparently, this seems to be fixed in 2.6.19. Can someone throw some light on this? Is this a congestion

Hi, If I write UDP datagrams 1,2 and 3 to network and if the receiver receives in order 2,1, and 3, where can the sequence get changed? Is it at the source stack, network transit or destination stack? Any reply is highly appreciated. Thanks Rajib

Hi, I had a fundamental question regarding stack. When does TCP ack a segment? Is it immediately receiving a segment or after copying the data from kernel to user i.e after read() system call returns? Any input is highly appreciated. Thanks Rajib
