Hi Oliver, I fixed it, I cleared the table device_skip, using the truncate
command in postgresql. Once this was done all the workers started operating
Thanks for your help appreciate it.

I think there’s a device_skip table to empty as well as the admin table which
is the job queue.

No multiple backends, just a single. If its single is it still required to set
that variable, in deployment.yml ?
Looking at this line Row::update(): Can't update
App::Netdisco::DB::Result::DeviceSkip , and then on PostgreSQL.pm line 80
Does it mean there is an issue in the database it can’t update, because of some
row? Or the issue something more related to DBix application.
Thinking is there a way to reset the queue system completely, or maybe if there
is some field in the database it’s not liking that can be cleared/re-populated.

Do you have multiple backends running? I assume not.
Or else set environment ND_SINGLE_WORKER=1 and see if the issue reappears.
The error is in the job queue management system, we know that at least.
Oliver.

Thanks Oliver for your response, Yes tried all that, disk is not full
I also did backend restart.
What does the error mean?
Its very strange just suddenly happened no changes being done or upgrades.
Running this as a large production system for a long time and got in bit of
panic whats occuring.

Hi Muris
Have you tried to empty the whole job queue? And then restart?
Have you also checked the disk is not full?
Oliver.

Hi oliver, I thought to perhaps include you in this I did post on the netdisco
user group also.
I basically have this large production netdisco system, and the job queuing has
stopped working all of a sudden with the errors below about 3 days ago.
Can you recommend any steps I should do to try resolve it?
Appreciate your help as always, thankyou Muris

Subject: Help - Netdisco suddenly job queue stopped working
Hi,
I have a problem at the moment netdisco job queue has stopped working out of
the blue after many months running fine, and no updates done to it. I even
updated to the latest version just now and still the same issue.
The jobs just stay queued. If I run the manual netdisco-do this runs fine.
When I had a look at the netdisco-backend log it shows this, any ideas how I
can get this operational again please? Thankyou
