Do you mean data source?

If you can create data source you should be able to create data objects.

What are the symtoms.

If you have problem try to define a data source using an owner name.

PeopleSoft
         (>3000 tables) it took more than 5 minutes for the screen to come back. I am
now
         using 4.1.3 to define all the database source and objects and then convert
them to
         5.0

         issue is the datasource & dataobjects. First off, does this version ship
with only
         the jdbc-odbc bridge support? Secondly, I am able to create datasources
using the
         odbc bridge, but then when I try to create dataobjects, I do not see any
fields in
         the tables/procedures etc. Is this a known issue or is there something else I
need
         to do first? Thanks.
