Hi, if you are using the NMUI sample as a base for your application, you have to create a datachannel with a different GUID than NMChat's GUID. The other application has to do the same. If your application is called from a normal NM 3 client, the chat channel will probably open anyway.

i went from using modem to dsl connectivity at home. it was transparent to net meet. you probably want to change the bandwidth setting to cable/dsl instead of modem speed in net meet. blair ---

There should be an audio wizard or test to run to ensure your audio is working properly. I have been using Sorenson EnVison for my video conferencing which incorporates an audio wizard. It uses NetMeeting for it's data colaboration and uses a PCI card for video and audio compression. The EnVison
