What would be the use case for this? Is there a kind of standardized representation for packets in JSON? In any case, I think it goes a bit beyond the scope of netsniff-ng, since we would then also need to support capturing to JSON which - as I suspect - will be quite some overhead due to the conversion to a text-based representation which in turn slows down capturing.
