Unlikely to make any difference; that favicon is fetched due to the web search provider functionality. I was meaning to look at caching favicons within URLdb a while back - I think there may be benefits to that (we can call up favicons for treeviews for instance). They'd still need to be refreshed of course, but I don't think the search provider needs to grab the absolute latest favicon - the last time it was fetched would be fine. That would solve this issue anyway. A disk cache would also solve it, but I'm not sure if that would allow us to associate bookmarked or history URLs with favicons? Chris
