I tried build 2126 and 2127 and they both stopped with a Failed to
Initialise message.
A look in the log showed it was trying top open res/cache/control
so I created an empty folder res/cache
Netsurf was then able to start.
Should this empty "cache" folder be added to the build ?

I just tried the latest daily Atari build (2105) but I am still getting the
CSS Base error message.
At that point the log file looks like this :
(5.875000) content/content.c content_convert 283: content file:///./hotlist.htm
(0x1b1be0c)
(5.875002) render/html_css.c html_css_quirks_stylesheets
Does anyone know what is wrong with the Atari daily builds?
Any page just opens a dialogue box saying CSS Base (attached).
No pages are rendered.
Peter
There seems to be a problem with the Atari test build 1930
When opening any page a dialogue box pops-up saying "CSSBase"
and the page is not rendered.

I am using the Atari build No. 1841 (m68k) and this allrecipes page just
displays blank.
It is probably just the JS but I can't test that here. I tried editing
the page source to remove the JS but still blank.
Can someone else confirm the behaviour and if it is the JS ?

I noticed a couple of oddities that may just be the Atari version.
1. I opened an incomplete url and got a "bad url" error. So I
closed the Netsurf window and tried to open another.
Instead of an empty window I got the bad url error again. I had to
exit and restart Netsurf.
2. I tried to append s
This page doesn't render very well, it may be the JS.

Also I did a search and when I tried to open the results it just

Hi All,
I just tried the 1556 build and it spent several minutes trying to
display a html list of links and then crashed out.
Peter
I installed the Atari build 1501 and subjectively it seems slower,
mostly after the page has been rendered, Netsurf pauses for over a
minute before the page can be scrolled or anything else.
I will have to do some timings to be certain.

Peter

I am just trying the Atari daily build which is working well again.
However, I logged into Yahoo.co.uk and when I moved the focus to the
home page search field, Netsurf crashed out. I repeated the test
to be sure.
It's several months since I signed in with Netsurf but it did work
previously.

I just went to have a look at the Netsurf repository.
http://git.netsurf-browser.org/netsurf.git/tree/desktop/textarea.c
The download pauses for about 10-15 seconds between each update
of the number of kb downloaded, there is only about 438k but it
took a while.

Why does this page continually flicker and redraw ?
http://www.atari-forum.com/viewforum.php?f=27&sid=9957abd962ec11a94e286d2bf6ec7805
It might not be obvious on faster hardware but on the Atari 68060 version
it slows everything down.
I am using a test build 1276

Is this grey on black text a result of the colour changes ?

While work is being done on textareas maybe it is a good time to raise this

When typing in a textarea, each key press causes a refresh of the entire
textarea.
You may not notice this on a fast cpu but on a 68060 it is very noticeable
and the more text there is, the slower it gets.
