Hi Rana - it was with pleasure that I read your post - FINALLY, the list is getting exciting again. I was just in New Zealand with Suketu, and am happy to report his book Maximum City won the Kiriyama Prize, which is a kind of Pacific Rim/South Asia equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize in the U.S.
