"Bitcoin is the least-private transaction system that has ever been invented by human beings." Perry is a computer-security expert, cryptographer, and ex-cypherpunk. He also runs the Cryptography mailing list, where "Satoshi Nakamoto" first published his paper describing Bitcoin.
