'nm_get_device_by_udi' to return NULL in case the device wasn't found in
the list. This seems fairly reasonable to me, and if you agree, please
apply the patch.

Right now, I have to start up my ppp on UMTS manually, which means that
I can stop the NM at the same time. I don't see a need for this disable
API at all.

and the VPNs, it can be done with a choice of three
options:
1) Auto connect
2) Connect with a confirmation dialog (think hotel wireless, you have to
pay before you connect)
3) User selected connection.
When I think of it again, it can be a setting for all connection types.

When the domainName DHCP option contains spaces, nm-named-manager
proclaims it as invalid, although multiple domain names are often used
in the DHCP server configuration. The attached patch fixes this
