By the way... When I call properties (from popup menu) of my Opensolaris 
workstation from Windows I always get "Server  is not 
found in network."

Ok. Thank you. Now pc is visible. But I get "Access denied" message when I try 
to open it from Windows. Should I have shared directories in Opensolaris (like 
in Windows) for access?

You need to setup samba to make your machine visible to windows ... the 
configuration files are in /etc/sfw/ if you install the packages.

You need to get the "nmbd" name daemon running, this is controlled by the 
svc:/network/wins:default service.

copy the smb.conf-example to smb.conf and modify the workgroup to match your 
windows worgroup/domain then start the service.

if you're directly connected to the internet you might want to specify the 
"hosts allow" section to match your local network/netmask.

How to make osol pc "visible" for WinXP or WinVista pc which are situated in 
one local network. Windows pc is visible for osol pc and [i]ping[/i] works in 
both ways...
