We did hit the bug you mentioned below with a windows NFS
client. We have not chased it down yet. Frank can answer if his 2.4
commit could fix the issue or not.

Looks like there are some recent changes in the latest code after 2.3.2.

We are using Ganesha 2.3.2, hitting this crash.
Before I start browsing all the latest fixes beyond 2.3.2, does this
