We have our own FSAL that runs in the following version of NFS ganesha
on a CentOS system. I have been trying to locate a crash for the last
few days but with no progress. Any help in this matter will be greatly
appreciated.
# rpm -qa | grep -i ganesha
nfs-ganesha-2.2.0-6.el7.x86_64

I guess Bruce's point may be a question, is the NFSv4 COMPOUND operation itself
sufficient for your planned implementation? Is extending NFSv4
COMPOUND/operations and semantics part of the project?

To me a "transaction" is an atomic operation that succeeds or fails as a
unit, which an NFSv4 compound isn't.
