That's the paintscheme for an '86, but the engine would have been blacked
out too so it's definitely an '85 in an '86's evening gown.

I'm live in the SF Bay Area and am looking to sell my '86 Nighthawk S.
Anyone 1) know what they're going for in good condition (perfect

it? I'm just starting my homework regarding selling it, so...
thanks,

*Hey Alex, welcome to the group. Your request for info is one we get from
time to time. Here are some starters:*

*2. Check and lube chain*
*3. After draining your tank run a couple bottles of Sea Foam thru the gas*
*4. Check TIRES!! This is often overlooked because

Cool, thanks Paul... I know for a fact I need new tires... ones on there are
absolutely shot! Also, chain is rusted.
So far what I can come up with is:
1) new chain
2) new tires
3) polishing chain guard and rear fender
The bike really appears to be in great shape! I'll post some pictures later
*After yesterday's ride I'm thinking about a tail bag for my bike to attach
to my rack.*

Sure thing Paul. I started to go to the gym and my usual backpack is too
small to carry everything. I hope this one will take care of it. I'll take
few pics when arrives.

My weekend ride was much shorter, just 90 miles. One to just have a nice ride
on a beautiful day, and two to get a look at an A-10 Warthog at an air show.
