It's also a safety for those who never lube the cables. In the occasional
cable fail you can still pull back the throttle. Some might say kill
switch. I say don't chance a perfect storm. Good luck!

Also did you guys follow the procedure for reassembling the set and bolt
tightening sequence? This helps alignment and reduces binding. It's in the

Try seafoam deep creep it works great. I start at the throttle and add
until it drips out the bottom. Pivot points also.

Check how you have your cables routed. If they move freely out of the bike
but stick when installed you might have them bound up somewhere.

They would work fine for a few rides and then the throttle handle would become
sticky again. Is there a trick of cleaning them out with
