I have the V 4-1 on my 750. I like the sound, and there is a bit of
increase in performance. I could probably get a lot more if I rejet the
carbs. It is also significantly lighter than the stock.

I have been a member for several months but can't seem to find the right
Nighthawk or arrive too late to purchase. I have found a 1997 Nighthawk in
excellent condition however the exhaust system has been changed to a Two
Brothers system. I am not familiar with this system on a 750
First off, welcome! Glad to have you here.
I'm not familiar with with the Two Brothers exhaust, but I have noticed
(not in any scientific way, mind) that most aftermarkets tend to be loud
and buzzy, with an emphasis on more top end flow.
I daily a '93 750 with a mix of around-town and highway
+1 on Kurt's comments. If anything it adds value since after market pipes
are usually pricey, and that is the same reason it is usually much easier
to go back to OEM. I just switched the stock pipes in mine for VanceHines
and I love them :D. I have a better response in the top end, but I don't
