I have also found that when some lists medical reasons or someone moving 
and left it behind almost always leads to a questionable purchase.  Without 
knowing the millage I'd just walk away.  I went with emotions when I 
purchased my ST and in the end overpaid and the bike has lots of little 
problems that point to a past accident that the seller didn't tell me 
about.  Having said that, I purchased my 750 from a pastor who was selling 
the bike for the family of a church member who had passed away.
