I feel ya, but the PC800 does have more secure cargo space, especially with the
56L top case. Important when leaving the bike parked in cities.

Not too much. Tire repair kit, air compressor, extra oil (it uses some),
ratchet with 10-17mm sockets, allen wrenches, tire pressure gauge,
electrical tape, scissors, razor knife, fuses, cigarette lighter digital
volt meter

I was out of town for at least one of your passes through Houston and I
took a more northerly route than you did so we wouldn't have met up on the
road. I went through Roswell on the way out and Amarillo (by morning) on
the way back.
