August can get 100F+ with 100% humidity. Mix that with the very real
possibility of getting stuck in gridlock traffic (even on weekends) around
Houston and I pretty much keep my bike garaged for that month. It's not
impossible

I don't drink but I'll happily meet up for a burger. What part of summer
are you considering? June and most of July aren't too bad but August can
get way too hot/humid for much riding down here.
