The curvature in your control pods will not match a 1" bar, and they will not seat. Additionally, your throttle tube will not fit over the 1" bar, and the curvature in the clamps on the triple tree will not fit the 1" bar diameter. You could probably "make" them work, but they will not be very

Long shot, but mine did that, especially hands off. It turned out to be the steering column bearings. Put it on the center kick, sit on it so the front wheel is off the ground and feel very carefully if there is any sort of a catch or bump in the steering especially when passing center. --
