Those bikes are known to have some slop in the timing chain die to a weak tensioner spring. I don't know how to check what caused it to suddenly get louder though. [Nighthawk Lovers] Hey loud knocking from the front of my bike on my ride to work
84 cb650sc usually has a little tic in front but on my way to work it was really loud hollow knocking sound. Didn't seem to do it in lower rpms so I road in fourth to get to where I needed to be. I stopped and put oil in it thinking that may help but nothing.
