That's it. I saw bike bandit offers OEM jets for your bike. I would look at
the slow jets too. They are in the middle of pic I sent. Main jet was still
screwed into emulsion tube in that pic also. They need to come apart to
clean and you're welcome

It looks like mine is the A version VE66B = 112 main jet.
Thank you Darin.

The carb identification number is VE66 ERKB7. Does that identify it as VE66B,
if so the service manual states that a 112 jet is required.

Took the carbs off today and dismantled them. Checking the jets, carbs 1 & 3
had 112 jets, but carbs 2 & 4 had 110 jets. Is that normal ?.
I’m waiting for some carb cleaner to arrive from eBay, then I’ll give it all a
good clean.

Hi Graham. No I didn’t rebuild the carbs, but the guy that I bought the bike
from had them rebuilt, with bills as proof. I’ve got a good spark on all
cylinders.

Do you have a good spark on that cylinder? I just had a new eBay coil fail one
cylinder after an hour running. Cheap Chinese after market. Ordered Honda OEM
it's on the way.

Back to the beginning. You already rebuilt these carbs right? You have
spark on 2 and 4 right?
If so, then yes, remove carbs, clean, etc

I tried to remove the carb bowl today but the bolts were really tight and it
looked like the Phillips head was going to strip, so I didn’t go any further.
I started the bike, but it ran really bad. I touched the manifold pipes and 1
and 3 were hot, but 2 was warm and 4 cold. I then noticed that
I just had the same problem on an '84 CB700SC eventually both cylinders
quit. Started miss fire on #4 then finally quit. Then #1 quit shortly
afterbad coil pack. Just ordered a pair of replacements from eBay.

Nice score Tommy. I'm with these guys on the jets Nick. You could have
very easily disturbed some small debris while removing and cleaning
petcock. If you don't know how small the openings in the jets are, sounds
like you'll soon find out. One speck of something smaller than a speck of
sand and
I just scored a free almost new Honda pressure washer for this very reason
owner had used it 3 times and could not get it to start. I removed the jet. It
was completely clogged. Used a piece of copper wire, cleaned it out, and runs
like new. All because of ethanol gas!! Well...and time

And being #4 carb, try just removing the carb bowl, in place. You can do it
without removing the carbs with a right angle Phillip’s screw driver or
real short ratcheting phillips. With carb bowl off it’s easy to remove the
jets, clean and put them back. Just put towel under carb to not lose
I think he is being tongue in cheek. It sounds like #4 carb is dirty. Needs
cleaning.

1996 750. I bought this bike as a winter project last year. The bike did start,
so I’ve been concentrating on bits and pieces that needed some work. Tried to
start the bike last week, but it wouldn’t start, so I started looking through
