He told me it ran good, needs battery and carb cleaning. So no big deal. Went thru carbs put a battery in changed oil and fired it up. Runs good but no battery charge. I replaced rectifier regulator and stator after I saw the shape they were in and still no charge. I've read everything I can find online, and in factory service manual. I'm a welder not an electrician. Wiring diagrams are pretty confusing to me, although I have sorted a few problems on my silverwing and installed a stereo and speakers on it. Any help with sorting out this problem would be greatly appreciated.
