There's a small [Reset] button inside it. Take a small screwdriver/pen/whatever and
press it.
Put the batteries back in. It usually solves locking problems on the F801s.

cycles and makes a strange noise about every second, the readout
alternately shows real aperture data and "FEE" each time the camera
