Thanks for submitting those.
I made some changes to the binary-only game.
It now supports the free demo version (as Arie Middelkoop suggested),
and I used requireFile for supplying the acquired binaries in case
you want to use the commercial version (as Yury G. Kudryashov
suggested).

same time.
See nesting.clone option or such in top-level.nix. That's what you want
to base your work on - or reuse it eventually.

Hi all,
In the example configs, there's a config for root-on-lvm.
It states that for lvm to work, you need a separate /boot partition.
For grub2, this is no longer true. Grub2 has support for lvm and raid
(at least raid1, not sure about other levels).
Can anyone confirm nixos runs fine from lvm

Also, I think that mplayer uses ffmpeg. When I recently tried to watch
some movie with it, it didn't have the codec. That was rather
disappointing. VLC on the other hand knew the codec out of the box. So,
in this case, I rather have more dependencies so that it works out of
the box...

FFmpeg has native MPEG-4 support, so it doesn't need xvid. From the configure
script:
