Hi Marc.
This is a bug in ghc-7.2.*
(http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/5709). It's fixed in
ghc-7.4.*.
I don't think any version of ghc-7.2.* will ever become the default
version in a platform and/or nixpkgs.
Therefore, I'm not very motivated to patch ghc.
Cheers,
Andres

Hi Yury,
The attached patch upgrades libdrm and mesa to the latest versions.
I have tested the updated versions, and they work fine. In fact, the
update greatly improved the stability of hardware accelerated OpenGL
rendering on my machine, i.e. several crashes that I used to see

Hey, I'm interested in getting a program I wrote into nixpkgs.
The program is Leiningen, which is the main build tool for the Clojure
programming language: https://github.com/technomancy/leiningen
My approach packaging for nix is pretty simplistic: it takes the
official shell script and applies
Excerpts from Phil Hagelberg's message of Wed Jan 11 04:47:42 +0100 2012:
Thoughts?
Make it that useful that nobody wants to miss it - then install it by
default along with emacs (on nixos systems)
You may also want to have a look at el-get package manager.

I helped package Leiningen for Debian, which ended up being much more
complicated since their policy requires that each dependency of
Leiningen is packaged independently. Is my the approach I've taken
here acceptable for nix or does it need to be broken up more?
Have a look at Eclipse. I had a
