Hi nixers!
I'm on vacation from Thursday until 27th September. So, please don't
wonder where I am, I propably have no way to access my mail, github
(I'm github.com/matthiasbeyer) or anything.
Next week I'm at my parents, so I possibly have internet access there.
I'm making this announcement so
Hi! I am (forced into) using a proxy server. I have configured it as
shown at the end of the letter. In general, almost everything works.
Unfortunately, it seems that fetchsvn is not the case. I have the
following errors while trying to build the package from sources stored
in an SVN repository:
I agree, adding OM expression to nixpkgs is the preferred way. The
reason I started with standalone expression is the complexity of OM
building scenario. The major problem arises from the fact, that
Makefile calls GIT and SVN to fetch additional sources (more than 70

Hello nixers,
this is a very good time to work on ZHF! Staging has been merged into

Hi!
last year we had a great sprint[1] where we started looking deeper into NixOS.
Although our own adoption at the Flying Circus is moving quite slowly we’re
making some progress.
This year we’d like to invite everyone again - we’ll have a enough space,
internet, food and drinks for a total

should properly handle http_proxy.
Ah yes of course.
