Also it worked on a desktop machine if I recall correctly. So it eventually is optimus related. Nvidia & Cuda: As root it works, as user it doesn't (even exporting the env from root). Easiest way to reproduce: $(nix-build cudatoolkit)/extras/demo_suite/deviceQuery Either outputs 'FAILED' or some info Has anybody a solution yet?
