It’s very easy to make them go down: 1) Go to this page (issues, least recently updated first) https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Aopen%20sort%3Aupdated-asc%20 2) Click on the first 3) Skim over the contents 4) Write: "(triage) Any updates?" or similar, maybe more fitting 5) After two weeks close the issue / ask a maintainer to close it for you Often the issue will have solved itself.
