Dear Colleague,
Please find information about two upcoming courses arranged by the Swedish
Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Introduction to Quantitative Pharmacology and PK/PD for Drug Discovery
Development Scientists, Munich, Germany, September 2-3, 2010
This course
Hi, while running a KOKA model I came across an observation and would
greatly appreciate it if someone helps me understand it.
When using a SIG=3, the model converges, and provides lower and upper CI
bounds. All the CI bounds are positive except Q and the CV% of all
parameters are within 20 %
First, of all sorry about the last email, it somehow got sent before I could
complete it.

Here are my thoughts on this topic and the models:
I agree with the comments made about the baseline and the method to deal with
estimating the baseline pattern of QTc.
But, adding up concentrations of two different drugs should be the last resort,
because it assumes that the drugs
Dear Indranil,
Nick Holford has posted his observation on the use of SIGDIG in Nonmem
v6 to this list. You can find the results at his site:

If you use ADVAN 6 to 9, you may want to set TOL to a number really
higher
Dear All
I am interested in trying a transit model in an attempt to better describe
early drug concentrations following intravenous injection (1 minute and 10
minute infusions) of a sedative-hypnotic drug. I found some examples of
transit model control streams following oral administration
Dear Indranil,
According to Bob Bauer's explanation of the search algorithm process in
the introduction to NM7, he proposes the following general rules.
Set SIGL, NSIG, and TOL such that:
SIGL=TOL
NSIG=SIGL/3
The SIGL is a new variable in NM7 that the user can now specify - if you
are

Dear NMusers,
I'm trying to run a control stream using NONMEM6. Minimization was successful
but there is one error message RMATX -1. I get the output file with obj values
and other estimates but I don't have the table file. My table record is posted
below:
$TABLE ID TIME IPRE NOPRINT
If indeed the difficulty is caused by having a variable named KIND,
then the character @ may be used to prevent the replacement rule from
being applied:
@ REAL (KIND=DPSIZE) :: T(NO)
@ INTEGER (KIND=ISIZE) :: I,J
See the help item for verbatim code.

Matt,
WFN would not affect whether NONMEM decides to output a table file.
I have never seen the error message RMATX- 1. Some errors will stop
NONMEM from producing a table file.
Jing,
There is no such thing as a MASM listing file. I suspect you are talking
about the raw NONMEM output file
