We are pleased to announce the tenth edition of workshop series on data
analysis using population PKPD approach. Population Approach Group of India
(PAGIN) is a non-profit group in India, devoted to sharing and furthering
knowledge and skills in Population based data analysis. PAGIN conducts
annual workshops, and has held nine workshops so far. These were received
well and appreciated by the NONMEM learning community in India.

*Basic Pharmacokinetics and Hands on with R (Workshop I)*

This workshop focuses on introductory level concepts of pharmacokinetics.
Apart from lectures, Hands-on exercises in pharmacokinetic data analysis is
planned using ‘R’ software package. R is very versatile open source package
and R coding is invaluable in any data analysis scenario. This two day
workshop will introduce concepts of basic Pharmacokinetics and demonstrate
its application with hands-on exercises.

*Population Pharmacokinetic, Pharmacodynamics models & Applications
(Workshop II)*

This workshop will focus on introduction to the concepts of population
pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics models and hands-on exercises with
NONMEM software package. The software will be provided in flash-drives for
the participants to work during the workshop.

We are pleased to announce the “Workshop on data analysis using NONMEM”
organized by Population Approach Group of India (PAGIN). PAGIN is a
non-profit group in India, devoted to sharing and furthering knowledge and
skills in Population based data analysis. PAGIN conducted annual workshops
for the past two years which were received well and appreciated by the
NONMEM learning community in India.

PAGIN is hosting its third training course, "An introductory workshop on
data analysis using NONMEM from 10 - 12th May 2010 and registration is now

For the first time PAGIN is organizing a Half day Conference on Population
approach with invited lectures and paper presentations by researchers.
Abstracts are invited for the same. This is to be held on 12th May, 2010.

*Workshop Theme: *

The hands on workshop will teach participants how to analyze pharmacokinetic
and pharmacodynamic data using NONMEM VI. This is an introductory course
designed for participants with no previous experience of NONMEM, although we
welcome those who have limited experience and wish to expand their knowledge
base.

*Course faculty:*

The course will be taught by the following highly accomplished,
internationally renowned and friendly volunteers.

· Glynn Morrish, Director Goodness of Fit Pvt Ltd, Australia



The course will be run over 2.5 days comprising of lectures and hands- on
computer sessions. Each participant will be allocated a computer during the
hands on sessions to maximize their learning experience. Sessions will be
interactive and problem-based using real datasets. The course has been
restricted to 30 places so please register quickly to avoid disappointment.
