The transaction was 1/1, the current date was 1/3, and the future
pending period was set to 2 days. Sorry, I completely forgot to

That's not the issue here. The point is, if it doesn't automatically
move them from pending to open, then it's obviously intended that in
some situations you'll have pending transactions in the past. Yet the

As I've said twice in this thread already, the transaction was 1/1/09,
the current day's date was 1/3/09, and hiding future pending
transactions didn't hide it from the transaction list, only from the
bucket. It's not a large issue, I normally leave things as open once
I know it's been paid or
