Start Date and set your start date to April 1,
2009. Then set your starting amount to the total of all your spending
accounts and cash you have around the house and assign it to the
Salary bucket.
That should give you a starting point to allocating your income.

MoneyWell uses the settings from OS X but it gets weird about decimal
places when the currency is not your main one. I'll see if I can add a

Remember, MoneyWell won't change an existing bucket assignment, it
will only assign buckets to those that are unassigned.

There is also a wish list feature coming where you can establish a
list of purchases and save up for them inside of MoneyWell.

way to budget for everything but it sounds like you have a good handle
on it. Just don't try to force savings into buckets except for the
setting aside money part.
