Don't you ever check the change log?
Or you use always an old version?

You can modify them in langs.xml

be and underline) only set when checked but not restored if unchecked.

It may be nice to have a second level in the Language drop-down. It's getting
to be too long.

True. The fact that Notepad++ uses native Win32 API makes impossible to port
this project to another platform.

I thought about wxWidget+wxScitilla+boost solution to have cross platform
support.
But it should be made from scratch, even there're 50% of codes are reusable.

Without testing whether the macro-saving problem is generally reproducible,
I can tell you that the macro in question will not work.

At present, macros record only
 - keystrokes made to the edit window and
 - a few, probably most, menu commands,

They do not record button clicks and keystrokes to dialog boxes, such as the
search and replace.

Sometimes you can work around this by priming the search/replace dialog before
recording your macro, then in recording the macro use <F3> (Find Next) where
applicable.

Regards.
Greg

If any Chinese characters included, such as "font-family: ????, ??;",
npp would simply crash. When removed, it works OK.

"Run -> Launch in Firefox/IE" worked in the last version (though I had to tweak
it from a suggestion in the forums), now that I've upgraded....they don't.
Again.

So I'm going back through old forum posts, trying to figure what needs to be
changed to get it to work. If there's a configuration that needs to be made
in shortcuts.xml, why not put it in the README.txt! Every other text editor
opens a file in the browser seamlessly, why does NPP ignore this?

Do you think ONLY programmers use your program? Hello??? Web Developers need
to check pages in the browser!

Thank you! This solved my problem of being unable to launch a file in Firefox
or IE.

And I agree with your suggestions.

> You can modify them in langs.xml

I'm aware of that, but I would really be great if the "at.line.start" option
was available. I think code looks more structured if the comment characters
have the same indentation (but that's just me).
The other feature I mentioned was the possibility to execute line
"comment/uncomment"
without selection.

Thanks

Psychic/Nic
