Hi!

I guess I found a bug in Notepad++ v5.5.1 syntax highlighting for shell.
Consider the following script with Language -> S -> Shell:

<script>

#!/bin/ksh

(

sqlplus -s ${CONNECT_STRING:=/} <<-!

select  SOME, DATA

from    SOME_TABLE

!

) | tail -1 | read SOME VAR

echo "Next line"

<\script>

Notepad++ does not recognize the closing "!" for verbatim script input.
Hence, everything below the starting "!" is shown in red letters on blue
background. How do I fix this?

Thanks,

Martin.

Hello Notepad++ Team,

I am very much considering switching to this editor but was wondering if
accessibility changes might be able to be made to the user-interface of the
editor.

The biggest issue that I see at the moment is that the
Configuration/Preferences dialogs can not be navigated using the keyboard.
This is a huge issue as it does not permit a screen reader user to properly
change the configuration options of the editor (like turning off line
numbers for example). How probable is this change?

Jeff

Hey Jeff.

This has been a thorn in my side for quite a while as well. I'm thinking
about refactoring the way preferences are handled in N++ later thins year.
I'm currently working on another feature, but this would likely be next on
the list.

cheer,

joce.

You want to modify the parameters by modifying the config files by hand? I
would strongly advise against that.
