I have the program set up to show the toolbar.
I also have it set to minimize to the system tray.
Many times, when re-opening the program, the toolbar doesn't show and I have
to re-set it to show again. This only seems to happen after I have turned on
the computer for the day, rather than if I just close and re-open Notetab++
during any given computer session.
Does anybody know what's happening here?
Windows XP

I'm trying to delete all lines that contain a certain string.
When I try any of the appropriate items on the TextFX Viz menu, I get the
following
message:
"Search text cannot contain end of line characters"
What does that mean and how can I delete the lines I'm trying to delete?
I'm following the advice from another post in this forum, but I can't seem to
get this to work.

Cool... I'm not alone in being totally irritated by the Tab key behavior. Also,
I went to Shortcut mapper to change the behavior. It sorta worked. However,
now I want to restore the original behavior and don't see a way to do so. For
example, I mapped "E:Stick indent <blah> <blah>" (which used to map to TAB)
to Ctrl-TAB. Now, I want to restore just the TAB behavior and find that
Shortcut
Mapper refuses to enable the OK button when no checkboxes are checked. Catch
22.

Steps to replace all EOLs with some arbitrary string (including a string of
length 0)
1) CRTL-R (instantiates the TextFX Find/Replace dialog)
2) UN-check the RegEx checkbox
3) Click in the find field
4) CTRL-M or CTRL-ENTER (this inserts the EOL character into the find field)
5) type the string to replace with in the replace field
6) Use the Find, Repl%Find Again, or Replace buttons as desired

You're right.
If I dock the window I can scroll it.
I think that if this is a "workaround" the possibility to have a floating window
is a bug, since it cannot stay in the screen.

Thx man! This is by far the best workaround there is.
However, I simply don't understand how it's possible that a "default save
location"-option still hasn't been implemented. I thought, with the "major"
release of a 4.0 version, this terrible "bug" would be fixed :-/ ... Guess not.

Since you say an editor is an editor, is it possible to make a plugin that will

I'd like to modify the current Ctrl+F5 shortcut to output this in the file:

I've looked into modifying the various NPP .xml and .ini files and I've tried
to "include" the Ctrl+F5 shortcut inside another shortcut and that doesn't work.
Is there a way to modify the Date && Time text?

Hi,
isn't there or shouldn't there be a format in Notepad++ that pastes without
modification?
I believe that should be the standard and everything else should be manually
triggered.
