In version 4.9 this bug did't fix too. wtf? I need it! I'll stay at NP++ 4.6

Hi,
It's fine release, Thanks!! I use npp every day, this is the better editor :),
I like that
I think, visual effect of Mark it too light (on my monitor), I changed this
color to black, but it's again too transparency.
The old behavior of Mark was very nice, because the marked words are always
emphasized, and I could mark more words (expressions). I would like old mark
also, by any chance more colors. I think it was very useful.

it would be nice to have the cursor on an initial column-number (like linenumber
-l999 ) - this would allow to jump directly from pdf files to the source file
by clicking on an item!

I confirm that.
Due to the performance issue, Notepad++ parses once by using
RE "http://[a-z0-9_\\-\\+.:?&@=/%#]*"; to support only "http://"; as clickable
link.
If you have better RE (conform to Scintilla's one) which can support "ftp://";,
"https://"; etc, please let me know.

I use a twin system XP-Windows 98 SP3. This version does not print nor open
system.dat or user.dat as previous versions did when running the second one.
Maybe there's a bug. Thank you for your excellent program.

Just downloaded v4.9 - couldn't tell NP++ that I wanted the text formatted as
PHP because the Menubar was missing. All that was there were a pile of buttons
which did nothing to return the Menubar or allow me to specify the language
to be formatted as.
Maybe something for v4.9.1?
Until then, still using (and LOVING v4.8.5) - thanks for your contribution to
the Open Source Community, and the world there-through.

Is it still a one-man development? If not, porting to other platforms will
increase
users. Notepad++ is just too great! I hope that I can use that on Linux and

In v4.9, check Settings > Preferences > Global tab. You'll find the options
for hiding (or not) the Toolbar and Menu Bar there. (In the case of the Menu
bar, it also mentions that you can toggle it using the Alt or F10 keys.)
