I know that this can be done with the command line version, but is there any option I can set so that the Windows version does it? Thank you. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The pop-up window (the hint) with parameters will be shown right after you type fopen( The hint will not be shown until you type the opening brace '(' . ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Click for options.... using IE 8 at home there was nothing in the scruity or advanmced options i could set that would stop this error- in fact many times going back to the options showed that the setings i had previously set had not saved- in short there was nothing i could turn off or on in IE to stop this from happening- i gave up and used Firefox... problem is at work my computer needed reimaging- ive had to reload notepad++ and im now getting the IE issue i was getting at home.... and i simply don't know how to fix it now i know this is a browser issue but if i run the html from my webfocus environment i have no problems with IE and we are not allowed to use Firefox here at work... therefore im desperate to get this working as ill have to start using the webfocus environment again for my html development which isn't as stable, quick or as nice to use as the notepad++ environment... can anyone help? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I set the session extension to "TXT" the other day *thinking* that it would use it as the default file extention when I create and save a new document. It didn't and (obviously now) buggered up Notepad++ from opening TXT files. Should've made the connection, but didn't! :o) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I have hundreds of transcripts I need to add a sequintially numbered fileid at the end of each line within. Each transcript will have no less than 500 lines. This is the example... 01 <s> CHAPTER ONE </s> (time_0001) - - - - - - - 98 <s> WE PLACE IN TODAYS WORLD </s> (time_0098) 99 <s> A MOUNTAIN CLIMBER </s> (time_0099) 100 <s> WHO WAS ON HIS WAY DOWN </s> (time_0100) 101 <s> FROM THE SUMMIT OF MOUNT EVEREST </s> 102 <s> DIED DUE TO LACK OF OXYGEN AND FROSTBITE </s> 103 <s> THE SADDEST PART OF THIS TALE </s> 104 <s> IS THAT EVEREST IS NOT </s> 105 <s> THE DESOLATE NO MANS LAND </s> as you see above, the first three numbered lines have a fileid (time_xxxx) at its end marking it individually. Can a macro run through each line in this transcript, and on line 101 add (time_0101)at the end? on line 102 add (time_0102)at the end? on line 103 add (time_0103)at the end? on line 104 add (time_0104)at the end? on line 105 add (time_0105)at the end? Or is there another way? Thanks so much. Chetanji ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. It is too tedious to add this needed fileid by hand for hundreds of transcripts. Thanks, Chetanji ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. It would be really nice. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Once you?ve got Simple Scripts installed and working, it takes more time describing it here than executing it !!! ;-) Hope it helps. Here it goes: Phase One 01. Install the Simple Script Plugin 02. Open your file 03. Add this code in the Simple Plugin Window: AddLineNumbersOffset(" ","0",4,1) 04. Run the code Suppose the original text is: Line One Line Two - - - - Line Four Now it will be transformed into this: 0001 Line One 0002 Line Two 0003 - - - - 0004 Line Four Phase Two: (record a macro to put line numbers at the end of each line) 01. Put the cursor at the beginning of the first line 02. Start macro recording 03. Shift-Right-Click 5 times (select until the first white space) 04. Ctrl-X (cut the selection) 05. End Key (goto end of line) 06. Insert "(time_" 07. Ctrl-V (paste line number) 08. Insert ")" 09. Home (goto beginning of the line) 10. Home (again, just to be sure in case "smart home" is active) 11. Down Key (goto next line) 12. Stop macro recording 13. Press Ctrl-Shift-P until done. Final result: Line One (time_:0001 ) Line Two (time_:0002 ) - - - - (time_:0003 ) Line Four (time_:0004 ) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
