It used to be yellow by default in an older version of Notepad++. Cant find an entry for it in styler configurator or stylers.xml. With Preferences > Edit Cimponents -> Display Bookmark Margin the bookmarked line is displayed with a bullet but i want the whole line to be visually marked. Any ideas? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I've just tried out v. 1.31 and I fear something has gone wrong with this version. I've used a separate setup of N++ 5.4.5 Unicode with no other plugin (on WinXP Pro SP3) and now the single manual entries don't even launch the manual... Besides this, either of the 'show in context menu' options does not add the manual entries to the right-click menu (the default one, with no items added by me). I've tried playing with the various options there to no effect. I suppose some bug must have slipped by. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. If it is not in your language menu, go to Settings -> Preferences -> Language menu to enable it. Now, if all your files use this SQL variant, you may want to associate your SQL files with MSSQL and disable the binding with stancard SQL, which doesn't have CASE recognised as a fold point. It seems to be random and is happening about once a day. It must be something I'm doing, but I can't see a pattern yet. Please help me to help you fix this bug. AFAIK I have no plugins, and it's straight out of the box. N++ 5.4.5 on WinXP SP3. If it's any help, I am working on PHP files which swap frequently from HTML to PHP and back again. I usually have a dozen or more tabs open in both panes. PLEASE HELP !! Gonville. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Please read the term?inal section of http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/notepad-plus/index.php?title=Configuration _Files for a detailed how-to. Using a different editor is the simplest way, but is not necessary. The folowing will change the backgrounnd color for the ookmark marker: <Macro name="bookmark_bk" Ctrl="yes" Alt="yes" Shift="no" Key="100"> <Action type="0" message="2041" wParam="24" lParam="<your_color>" sParam=""/> </Macro> <your_color> is the decimal value of a RGB color representation, lke in HTML. That would be 255 for full blue, for instance. Change 2041 to 2042 and you'll adjust the foreground color. You can also change the translucency of the background. Instead of disabling the bookmark margin, which will also show hidde line marks as background and confuse Compare, you ay want to prevent the bookmark being displayed on that margin, leaving other markers alone. The macro to do this is <Macro name="bookmark_to_bk" Ctrl="yes" Alt="yes" Shift="no" Key="100"> <Action type="0" message="2244" wParam="1" lParam="12582912" sParam=""/> </Macro> and this one brings it back <Macro name="bookmark_to_mgn" Ctrl="yes" Alt="yes" Shift="no" Key="100"> <Action type="0" message="2244" wParam="1" lParam="29360128" sParam=""/> </Macro> CChris ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. My file is ANSI, russian, CP1251. I put 1251 in the macro settings. I have the locale in the language bar and nothing happens running the macro. Why does it have to be UCS2 on the format? I didn't create the file to choose it, it's already ANSI. My windows setup isn't russian but I can see them displayed fine in Unicode/ANSI in Firefox. (Of course I have no problems with Unicode in N++ either) Maybe it's because I didn't change the styleID in stylers.xml but it's a labyrinth in there and I'm not sure which one I should change. In any case not the default because these non-latin files (well russian here) just pop up now and again and I don't want to alter the default style. I don't know if it makes any difference but it's Windows2000. This is indeed one of the few weak points of the app, and a number of bus or inadequate behaviour instances were reported already regarding the macro system. Rememer, this is open source, so we can all contribute more or less. But this option seems to be only for newly entered tabs. All existing tabs in a text file (or assume I copy a text with embedded tabs) are NOT replaced. So the question is: How can I replace all ALREADY EXISTING tabs by (e.g.2) spaces?
