Hmm, when I do a "Save session" then a file open prompt dialog appears and
I have to navigate at first through dozend of steps e.g. to the NP++ install
directory to get to the location where I want to put the session info file.
Similarly when I click later "Load Session" I have again to do dozends of clicks
to get to the directory of the previously saved session file.

This is all very user-unfriendly.

Is there no option "save + offer session files always automatically to/from
install directory or user defined session folder"?

That would be perfect.
Moreover offering an "open last session from aaa123 session" entry directly
in the "file" menu would be fine.

Thomas

Hi,
here is a private build based on the latest version of WinManager:
1. add a filter on the top of the dialog;
2. fix one bug: when Rclick on ofne of the file list items in winManager, a
context menu will be poped up, if you don't select any menu and click on
somewhere
out of the context menu, then the menu will be disappeared. At this time ,
if you open new files, Winmanager won't be updated correctly.
Snapshot is here:

Private build(Unicode) is available here:

Is it syntactically correct to put the ; on the next line? I'd expect it to
work better.

If I get you right, you'd ask for
* the ability to define a default directory for session files, which would be
the initial folder for both the Save session and Load session file choosers;
* A Load recent session new entry in File menu, spawning a submenu with the
latest files saved via Save session.

Makes sense, ask for it in IdeaTorrent.

I'm giving up on release 5.4.5. Is this the release you're using? Not only
Notepad++
freezes, but it freezes the whole computer so that I can't even open Task
Manager,
and have to power off. I'm a new user. Can someone tell me the latest version
that's considered stable? I'm on Windows XP.

I cannot find how a plugin developer is supposed to submit updates and/or modify
the repository xml file.

2 following commands will be added in the next version :
safari "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"
chrome "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"

However, not for :
opera "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"

Just installed the latest version of opera, but still can't run it by typing
only "opera" in run box.

Franco,
  If you have a look at the site mentioned in the post,
http://www.brotherstone.co.uk/npp/pm/ , that has details about how to submit
updates. If, however, you're talking about your language plugin update, i've
already got that poised for the next XML release I do ;)

Basically, you can send me your update, or ideally fork the repository on github
and send me a pull request for your changes. This way is easiest to keep track
of what's in and what's out.

Cheers,
Dave.
