What I do is open "stylers.xml" in the directory where notepad++ saves its settings ( "[homedir]\Anwendungsdaten\Notepad++" on my german system ) and make a "find/replace" for the font name. Quick & dirty, but it works. Otherwise, n++ is a great piece of software, thanks to the developers. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Window docking just makes everything so much slicker and easier. The only bug I've found so far - and it's a minor one - is that the current line is always highlighted. The "active current line highlight" (Prefs - Edit components) doesn't make any difference (if you untick, it'll be ticked the next time you restart). Keep up the great work! ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. TextFX cannot follow this standard and provide it's functionality. For Sort TextFX will expand the selection to include entire lines but not until it has noted the column number that started the selection. The column number on the first marked line is what TextFX uses to determine sort order and uniqueness for every line. >00000001 XYZZY >00000002 The Cave >00000003 XYZZY >00000004 XYZZY >00000005 The Cave >keyboard/mouse : shift-alt-left click : select column line numbers. No column marking here. Normal mark from the first XYZZY to beyond the end of the text. TextFX will note the starting column which will exclude the line numbers from the sort and expand the selection to the entire line before performing the sort. In a later step you will will mark the entire text including the line numbers to make TextFX sort on the line numbers. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I don't need the editing feature but rather just for browsing and opening remote files locally (but no way to send edited files back up). Currently, if I map a Unix folder in Windows (using Samba) and a file has the date and time as part of the name, it shows up as ~ and not the date, therefore making it hard to tell which file I want to open. However, if I FTP to the Unix server I can view full file name even if the a date and time are part of the file name. Also, is it possible to add "modified date" in the Explorer tab for sorting purposes? On a side note you have done an awesome job of developing this program. I was able to add SAS systax highlighting and love the block highlighting feature as well. Kudos to you and many thanks!! ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. It's really annoying to have to do this whenever I install Notepad++ on a new PC. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. To use it, you'll need to insert the text into your UserDefineLang.xml file. There's at least one drawback to this: The native fortran syntax highlighting recognized 1.0d10 as a number, whereas the user-defined style sees the "d" as a new word. To ensure that NP++ recognizes .f90 and .f95 files as free-form, you have to remove "f90 f95" from the langs.xml file in the NP++ install folder. Regards.
