Does any one know what versions that XMLTools.dll is compatible with?
I have an older version Notepad++ 3.4 and its not compatible..
Is there a stable, bug free, compatible release of Notepad++ for use with this
plugin?

There has to be a way to implement the highlighting so that its on all the time
and shows all the brackets instead of having to click behind each individual
bracket...If someone knows a plugin or can help me accomplish this it would
be much appreciated.
I am acutally surprised this is not main feature because for those who are very
skilled typers and find the colour annoying they would just have to change the
colour to black to turn the feature "OFF"
Just to make sure I'm clear I am looking for a modification to the style
configurator
so that the following Global Styles, "Brace highlight style" and "Bad brace
color" are permanently active for ALL brackets while editing a file in notepad++
As I said above...if it get annoying I simply have to change to two colours
to black to shut it off :)

Most plugins just require the DLL file to be copied to the plugins directory
(probably c:\Program FIles\Notepad++\plugins). Some need some extra files
copying
to the Notepad++ directory itself, but there's normally instructions.

You might try the plugin manager plugin, which will download and install all
the other plugins for you - you just select which ones you want. Obviously
you need to install the plugin manager plugin manually, but that's only means
copying one file in the plugins directory, and one in the updater directory
under notepad++ (e.g. C:\Program Files\Notepad++\updater).

This just adds a space and turns caps on for me.
I strongly suspect you have some Windows add-on which is taking over - Scintilla
does not process the Caps key in any way. And, while a plugin might achieve
catching and processing this combo, I don't know of any that tried.
Can you check this? If not, please post your OS version and locale, NP+ version
and installed plugin list, for further review.

Post this on IdeaTorrent, and I'll +1 it. Or even the ability to color
differently
depending on the nesting level, or simply use two alternating styles so as to
easily read stacked braces.
This requires changes in Scintilla code basically (all the lexer files), so
I wouldn't expect it soon. Perhaps asking on Scintilla's forum as well may help.

The oficial website is being restructured these days, and I wish a new page
with a diagram showing all the hosted apps we use are in synergy added. However,
they are not all deployed yet (specially phpBB), so it may be too early yet

Hello,
It would be very nice to have the hexadecimal color codes underlined with the
colors they represent. It would be very helpful when editing CSS's or any file
containing color codes. For example, each occurrence of "#00ff00" will be
underlined
in green. Is there any plugin that do this? If not, think It would be very
easy to code...

It would great if npp could have support for a command file list of files to
be opened.
e.g. notepad++ @filelist.txt where filelist.txt is a text file with a list of
filenames one per line
This would allow a sequence like this...
grep -S interesting_text *.txt > files.txt
notepad++ @files.txt

Hello,
i am using notepad++ along time and in the last 6 month its start to crush to
me from
while to while.
in the start it was because the find in files but after the last version its
fixed up.
now, when i save a file its crush (not every time that i save). the big problem
is that
its not give me a log file because that when its crush i need to make CTRL +
ALT + DELETE to close the task.
I love this program, please try to help me because i cant program like this.
