hhmm!

When open the program, and press ENTER, show auto-completition, but this
features
would be to show after press any character different of ENTER??

example:
make new document, then press ENTER, i dont want this, because, if have many
blank lines, always press ENTER, show auto-completition.

Sugestion: Show auto-completition after any char pressed (a,b,c ...)

version 4.5

Does anyone know if it is possible or how to load a partial file? I have a
text file that is a few 100 MB and I only want it to open so much at a time,
example, open the first 100k then when I scroll down to the end of that
it automatically opens the next 100k. I know this can be done in Ultra Edit
and would like to do it in Notepad++.

Thanks.

Hi,
Is there a way where Notepad++ does not re-open the files that were open when
it was closed?

I've defined a new Language Definition for the Language R. For folders it uses
{} just like many other languages. But when these are used to identify the
beginning and ending of folder they no longer turn red, like in the other
languages
that use them. Is there an easy way to fix this that I'm missing?
Thanks.

Don,
If I have more files open then notepad can show on the screen the mini left
right arrows appear. Is there a way to stack the file tabs vs the left and
right mini arrows. I am working in assembler (legacy code) and there are many
files I need to have open at once.

thanks

Thanks for a great editor!

I like the scrolling feature that exists in web browsers and many other programs
with scrolls up/down when you hold down the middle mouse button and drag. I'm
using a Wacom tablet so I can't scroll any other way than to grab the
scrollbars,
so I'd love to be able to scroll by click-holding a button on my pen.

PS. I plugged Notepad++ here, FWIW:

Thanks in advance!

/Jonas

also space should not trigger autocomplete either.

and i'd love to be able to exclude numbers from auto-complete...

it's a real pain for me because my language still uses line numbers.

but if enter/space/numbers were disabled from launching auto-complete than i'd
turn mine back on and LOVE it even more.

BTW i just love N++ ... so much i had to order the panties.

If there are files open when notepad++ is closed they will re-open when
notepadd++
is next opened. Any way to turn it off?

Is there a way to stack questions about this in one thread? While asking a
solution
for one and the same problem, you all are creating kind of the very same problem
on this forum.
