This was a bug a while ago, but it was fixed. Try using the latest version of
the DejaVu font (v2.21) and the latest version of notepad++ (v4.5). Remove old
versions of the font before installing the new one (manually delete them). This
includes the Bitstream Vera Sans font.

Hello!
There's a small thing I find annoying when writing text HTML files. If you have
characters like ?, ?, ?, etc, NP+ will keep those as is. What I'd like it
to do is change those for the correct ones. So, ? would be changed to é,
? as à etc.
This would simplify my life by a LOT. If you could make that happen, you would
see a very happy camper. :D
Hopefully that can be achieved without too much of a hassle. I hate having to
use multiple programs to do one thing.

I have exactly the same problem with occasional R6025 crashes - and occasionally
(under Vista) it just stops responding as well.
I have Light Explorer rather than Explorer plugin but makes no difference. I
used to get this in 4.1 - have just gone back to using Notepad and downloaded
4.3 and this is causing lots of problems!

Also have a look at the column editor (alt+c). This allows you to insert text
or numbers into the column block that you marked. Note that it *is* possible
to select a zero width block, even though you can't see it.
Also, the advanced find/replace (control+r) allows you to restrict the
find/replace
operation to a range of columns.

Hi!
I would like to change my notepad++ style into a more darker one, like on
textmate
under mac. The Ruby Blue Style seems to be quite nice, but by default there
isn't any syntax highlighting for ruby. Of course, i could trnalste the xml
for textmate (http://wiseheartdesign.com/2006/3/11/ruby-blue-textmate-theme/)
into notepad++, but haven't anybody done this work before?

This has probably been mentioned before, but it is a problem I keep running
into while coding.
How to reproduce it:
Open a document that has at least one line that is very very long horizontally,
and causes the horizontal scroll bar to be tiny. Now close that document, and
open one that is barely wider than the screen. Now the horizontal scroll bar
will be tiny and super sensitive when it does not need to be.
The only fix that I know of it to close Notepad++ and reopen it.
This is one of my favorite programs! If only it had ftp support, I could use
it at work!

notepad++ was the best tool that I found to write source-codes in windows but
now I use mac os and is too difficult to find a good editor ... we'll see a
mac version in the future??

The new release still has this bug which I have seen in 4.1 and 4.3 -
periodically
the system stops responding and Process Explorer shows high CPU utilisation
- sometimes it recovers and sometimes it gives the R6025 crash.

Whilst the crash happens at various times, seems worse when I have used "Clone"
to open two views, have a different file open in each view and am cutting and
pasting between the views.
