Pressing enter will insert codes instead of making a new line. Then I have to delete the codes that N++ inserted. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. For example. The displaying of Vietnamese characters now will be "??" for the characters. Although I had chosen encode = unicode please fix this ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. When opening *.nfo file (a text file that contains the information of the systems, softwares....), N++ has used many resource: RAM, CPU. It made my system barely hang up. I have to end it process in Windows Task manager and it still run. The RAM usage increase from ~3MB up to ~300MB, then decrease to ~50MB and then up to ~350M...., CPU is always 100% for this task. I have to change its priority from normal back to idle and then back normal...a few times to make its process completely exit. Please consider this bug. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. This language uses sequence of operators also as delimiters for comments. Comments are initiated with (* and terminated with *); however (, *, and ) are also operators. I created a language definition, but I'm unable to make comments work. When I declare a character as operator in the "User Define" window, even if the text file has the correct sequence to indicate a comment (as defined in the "User Define" dialog), Notepad++ keeps treating each character as individual operator and doesn't identify comments. Comments are correctly identified only when characters (, *, and ) are not declared operators, but then the rest of the code gets misidentified... Any way this can be fixed, perhaps by checking for comments before identifying individual operators? Thanks, Ivan ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. What if you were to create a new function in the DLL, 'getContextItems' (or alike, you get it), which Notepad++ would load if it were existant, but if it fails it assumes the plugin doesnt support it/doesnt need it. This way you can assure maximum binairy compatibility. Then you could add a flag to the array returned (liek FuncItem) what specifies the contextMenuitem is completely new function, or it refers to an index in the FuncItem array. Storing anything in contextMenu.xml isnt neccessarry that way, the plugin takes care if it. You can also choose if it were dynamic (function gets called everytime the contextMenu is created) or static where Notepad++ loads the function and initializes everything, after which its own internal memory is used to generate the menu. The first would probably be ideal for text editing functions (I'd love to see TextFX make use of this, TextFX with context sensitive handling would be perfect) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
